Request for applications for the Clean Building Performance grants

The Department of Commerce is soliciting applications for Clean Building Performance grants. These funds will support Tier 1 covered buildings and Tier 1 and Tier 2 public buildings pursuing compliance with the CBPS. The single RFA will cover the two categories of grants:

• $25,000,000 for privately owned Tier 1 covered buildings
• $15,427,000 for Tier 1 and Tier 2 publicly owned buildings

How do I apply?

1. Review the request for application (PDF) and application materials (Word).
2. Register and attend the pre-application conference.
   • Recording for the December 19, 2024 pre-application conference
   • Register for January 9, 2025, pre-application conference 12 – 1 p.m.
3. Submit your application no later than January 30, 2025, at 3pm.
4. For questions, email CBPSGrants@commerce.wa.gov.
5. For responses to questions received, please review the question and answer document.

Tentative schedule

• December 16, 2024: Request for applications released
• December 19, 2024 and January 9, 2024: Pre-application conference
• January 30, 2025: Application period closes
• February/ March 2025: Awardees and non-awardees notified
