Broadband Resources and Funding
Commerce, the Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB), and the Public Works Board (PWB) are dedicated to closing the digital divide. From mapping to planning and construction, we have the resources and technical support to realize the state goal of connecting every household and business.
Connecting the state to high speed broadband is a key goal for these three agencies because broadband fosters economic development and vitality, job creation, and supports Washington businesses in local, regional, and global markets. It allows students to access educational opportunities, fosters telemedicine and is a key component in public safety.

Eligible Activities:
Eligible construction projects that provide high-speed broadband infrastructure that meets the state’s speed goals of 150 Megabytes (MBps) symmetrical by 2028. Projects must be deployed in unserved communities across the state.

All applicants must have a committed internet service provider.
